PMYC Activity- Ashlar Village

In an effort to promote our hobby, members of PMYC visited Ashlar Village, a retirement community in Wallingford, Ct. We were a little surprised at the turnout ... many people were already waiting as we brought out boats onto the patio overlooking the pond. The residents were interested and interesting. Several people sailed the boats and everybody had a great time.

This is part of a program called Lunch and Learn and PMYC was happy that we could provide an opportunity for people to see what model yacht sailing is all about.

PMYC is happy to demonstrate the hobby of Model Yachting. Our hosts made some "mean" root beer floats and we'd like to thank them for their time and the effort they contributed into a successiful introduction to R/C sailing.
